DESCRIPTION:Applying Skills and Knowledge Through Computing Science \nJoin us to discover how you can make effective use of digital technology to ensure our youngest\nof learners are developing creativity skills for life and learning\, through high quality learning\nexperiences.\nIn this four-part professional learning programme\, explore and create along with us to extend\nyour knowledge of how digital technology can be embedded naturally through play\, linking to\ncurrent guidance and policy (Realising the Ambition\, Curriculum for Excellence\, How Good Is Our Early Learning and Childcare). \nThe session aims to:\n• explore examples of effective digital learning in early level settings and the creative ways in\nwhich practitioners are harnessing digital technology to support planning children’s learning;\n• support early level Digital Literacy and Computing Science experiences and outcomes in\nmore detail whilst aiding practitioners to reflect on their own knowledge and skills or those\nof their setting;\n• bring together like-minded practitioners to share their learning journey through this course.\nParticipants will be asked to share very brief presentation or display demonstrating how they\nhave developed their effective use of digital technologies and pedagogy in their setting.
