TRIC Digital Learning Festival 2019
May 11, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Welcome to the very first Tayside Regional Improvement Collaborative (TRIC) Digital Learning Festival 2019
On Saturday 11 May, the University of Dundee will host our very first TRIC Digifest, where we will bring together educational practitioners and young people from across Tayside and partner agencies from Scotland and beyond.
Our TRIC Digifest will provide opportunities to access high-quality and highly engaging professional learning as well as opportunities to be inspired by colleagues and young people from across the Regional Improvement Collaborative, showcasing exciting approaches to using digital technology to enhance learning and teaching.
TRIC Digifest is completely FREE for everyone to attend and contributes towards your career-long professional learning.
In this first event we have drawn up a programme, where we have representation from Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools from across the collaborative. We have also been successful in attracting guest speakers from The University of Dundee, Code Club Scotland, Google Scotland and Education Scotland.
To book your place, browse the festival programme, note the workshops you want to attend and then use the booking form to register your interest. Remember to book early to guarantee a place at the workshops of your choice.
We do hope you will enjoy the day, hopefully be inspired by what you see and hear, and take time to mingle and network with your other delegates in the Digital Plaza.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including pastries and hot bacon rolls on arrival and a sandwich lunch. Please indicate your dietary requirements on the Workshop booking form – link above.
The TRIC Digital Festival is being hosted in the Dalhousie Building part of the University of Dundee , a great modern venue very close to the city centre.
