This is Early Level Digital – Applying Skills & Knowledge Through Computing Science
February 27 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Join us to discover how you can make effective use of digital technology to ensure our youngest
of learners are developing creativity skills for life and learning, through high quality learning
In this four-part professional learning programme, explore and create along with us to extend
your knowledge of how digital technology can be embedded naturally through play, linking to
current guidance and policy (Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, How Good Is Our Early Learning and Childcare).
The session aims to:
• explore examples of effective digital learning in early level settings and the creative ways in
which practitioners are harnessing digital technology to support planning children’s learning;
• support early level Digital Literacy and Computing Science experiences and outcomes in
more detail whilst aiding practitioners to reflect on their own knowledge and skills or those
of their setting;
• bring together like-minded practitioners to share their learning journey through this course.
Participants will be asked to share very brief presentation or display demonstrating how they
have developed their effective use of digital technologies and pedagogy in their setting.
